IS YOUR RED CPCS CARD DUE TO EXPIRE ?

When you completed your first CPCS training course or assessment, your training provider should have given you a yellow log book.  In this, you should have logged at least 300hrs of operating experience on the piece of plant you were assessed on.

Once you logged the 300hrs, your next step should have been to work towards an NVQ in plant operations Lv2.  This is the only way forward.  Your main objective is to turn your red 'trained operator' card, into a blue 'experienced operator' card.

If you do not achieve this before your red card expiry date, it may be the end of your operating days on the piece of plant you were originally assessed on.  If you find yourself in this position, your only option is to contact CPCS direct on 0870 417 7274 and ask for their advice.

If you have a red CPCS card and you are still within your expiry date period, we can help you achieve your blue card.  Please call Paul Hennessey direct on 07904 111 577 for further information (North West candidates only).

Please CLICK HERE to view 'Candidates Guide to Construction NVQ's'.  This will help you gather evidence which is required to achieve your NVQ.
